It was released in the United States by STX Entertainment on June 24, 2016, received mixed reviews from critics and has grossed over $20 million.

The story is based on the history of Jones County, Mississippi during the Civil War and the immediately following period. Although the plot of the movie is fiction, the overall story follows the history of Jones County, and many of the events portrayed are true.

After surviving the 1862 Battle of Corinth, Newton Knight, a poor farmer from Jones County serving as a battlefield medic in the Confederate Army, deserts and retus home to his farm and his wife, Serena. While there, he befriends Rachel, a slave woman who has secretly leaed to read.

Newton’s disenchantment with the Confederacy grows after leaing that troops are seizing crops and livestock for taxes. After helping one family resist such a raid, he is bitten by a slave-catching dog. With the help of abolitionist Aunt Sally and several slaves, he escapes to a swamp where several runaway slaves led by Moses Washington tend to his wounds.

After the Siege of Vicksburg, Confederate desertions increase considerably, and many of them find their way to the swamp. Newton organizes the deserters and runaway slaves into a militia, and leads an armed rebellion against the Confederacy. They succeed in capturing a large slice of south-central Mississippi, organizing it as the “Free State of Jones”. Although they get little help from the Union, they manage to hold out until the end of the war.

Newton continues to fight against racial inequality after the war, helping to free Moses’ son from an “apprenticeship” to Rachel’s former master and registering freedmen to vote. He and Rachel have a son, Jason. Since they are unable to marry, Newton arranges to deed a parcel of land to her.

The story is interspersed with the saga of Newton’s great-great-great grandson, who is arrested under Mississippi’s miscegenation laws 85 years after the war. Since he is of one-eighth black descent, under Mississippi law of the day he is considered black, and therefore cannot legally marry his long-time sweetheart. He is sentenced to five years in prison, but his conviction is thrown out by the Mississippi Supreme Court rather than risk the law being declared unconstitutional.

A terrier named Max luxuriously lives with his owner Katie in Manhattan, hanging out with tabby cat Chloe, pug Mel, dachshund Buddy, and budgerigar Sweet Pea. One day, Katie adopts Duke, a large and shaggy Newfoundland from the pound, leaving Max jealous because of her larger focus on Duke. Enraged by Max’s attitude towards him, Duke tricks Max into travelling far into the city, and they are attacked by a feral gang led by Sphynx cat Ozone. The cats remove Max and Duke’s collars, causing them to be caught by Animal Control. Duke fears that he will be put down if he goes back to the pound.

They are rescued by a rabbit named Snowball, the leader of “The Flushed Pets”, a cult who hates humans due to being abandoned and mistreated. After Max and Duke pretend to despise humans as much as they do, the Flushed Pets invite them to join. To prove their loyalty, they must agree to be bitten by a one-fanged viper, but they accidentally kill it. Snowball finds that they are domesticated, and Max and Duke escape to Brooklyn. Snowball vows to kill them and sets off.^[7]

Gidget, a Pomeranian who loves Max, finds him missing, recruiting a vicious red-tailed hawk, Tiberius, to locate him. Being interrogated by her, Ozone directs them to sewers. Gidget, Mel, Buddy, Chloe, guinea pig Norman, Sweet Pea, and Tiberius trek across Manhattan in search of Max and Duke, led by the elderly, paralyzed basset hound Pops. The group encounters Snowball, vowing to kill them additionally. They escape, but Norman is captured.

Max and Duke begin to enjoy each other. They raid a factory, eating vats of sausage after being hungry. Duke tells Max about his elderly, previous owner Fred: He adopted Duke as a puppy and raised him adoringly in Brooklyn, but he got lost chasing a butterfly one day, and was taken by Animal Control two days later, but Fred never came looking for him. Although Duke isn’t sure if Fred will reconcile with him, Max convinces him that Fred will, convincing Duke to find him. They arrive at his house, only to find from a residing cat that Fred had died. Resentful and angst-ridden, Duke accuses Max of attempting to rid him, barking at the current owners, who call Animal Control. He is caught again, but saves Max, who follows the Animal Control truck.

Planning to rescue Duke, he is attacked by Snowball and his comrades. However, they are captured, and Max and Snowball ally to rescue them. They crash the truck on the Brooklyn Bridge with a city bus, stopping traffic. The Flushed Pets appear and, unaware of Max and Snowball’s alliance, coer Max, but Gidget and her team save him. The truck then slips off; the captured Flushed Pets escape, but the truck dives in the East River with Max and Duke inside. Max tries to retrieve the keys, but they float away. Snowball jumps off the bridge, bringing Max the spare keys. Max rescues Duke and they make it before the truck sinks.

Getting a taxi, everyone arrives at the apartment blocks. Max, infatuated, expresses his appreciation toward Gidget, who retus with affection. Snowball allows himself to be adopted a little girl, and the Flushed Pets retu to the sewers. The other pets retu and embrace their owners when they retu, and Max and Duke finally reunite with Katie, sparking a true friendship.

In a mid-credit scene, poodle Leonard hosts a party that Mel and Buddy attend in costumes. The owner then arrives and embraces Leonard as the participants hide, with the chandelier crashing as Tattoo smiles.

Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan) is a middle-aged ex-wrestling champion, who is living a mediocre and lonely life in the small town of Haryana. Aakash Oberoi (Amit Sadh), the founder of a private mixed martial arts league, is encouraged by his father to hire an Indian wrestler to salvage the league’s popularity. He travels to Haryana to make an offer to Sultan, who bluntly refuses and says that he has completely retired from wrestling. In search of the reason behind his retirement, Aakash confronts Sultan’s close friend Govind (Anant Sharma), who narrates how Sultan’s career began.

Eight years ago, Sultan fell in love at the sight of Aarfa Hussain (Anushka Sharma), a state-level wrestler and the daughter of a local wrestling coach. Although she was initially cold towards him, Aarfa accepted Sultan as a friend. When he began to proclaim that she was his girlfriend, she rejected him by stating that she wishes to marry an accomplished wrestler like herself. Determined to win her respect, Sultan dedicated himself to intense training and ultimately won a state-level wrestling touament, as well as Aarfa’s love. The two were married and became recognized wrestlers, representing India in various inteational touaments like the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games. When the two were announced as finalists for the Olympic Games, Aarfa discovered that she was pregnant. She gave up her childhood dream of winning an Olympic gold medal for India, which was then fulfilled by Sultan. To her surprise, Sultan’s accomplishment made him arrogant, and he acted conceitedly during a press conference. Even though Aarfa informed him that she was nearing her due date, Sultan left to win another inteational wrestling championship. Upon retuing, he was shocked to know that his newbo son had died due to severe anemia. The baby had a rare O negative blood type, identical to Sultan’s, whose absence deprived the child of a donor. Angered, Aarfa decided to leave Sultan and reside with her father. Depressed from losing his wife and child, Sultan began to fundraise to open a blood bank in Haryana.

In the present day, Aakash asks Sultan to join his league and promises that the touament’s prize money will fulfill his dream of opening a blood bank. Sultan agrees despite having become unfit and tired, and travels to Delhi, where Aakash introduces him to freestyle mixed martial arts coach Fateh Singh (Randeep Hooda). After two months of training with Fateh, who is a former inteational champion, Sultan manages to regain his physique and leas how to wrestle freestyle. Although he initially struggles in his first fight, Sultan defeats the opponent using his own iconic wrestling style. He soon becomes a nationwide sensation once again by winning a series of matches and gains Aarfa’s support in the process. During the semi-final round, Sultan wins the fight but is severely injured and has to be hospitalized. The doctor informs Aakash that Sultan should not fight again lest his injuries become fatal. Aarfa arrives at the ward and reconciles with Sultan, motivating him to continue fighting. During the final match, Sultan overcomes his pain to defeat his opponent and ultimately wins the touament. Reunited with his wife, Sultan opens a blood bank using the prize money and Aarfa resumes wrestling. A few years later, she gives birth to a baby girl, whom Sultan begins to train as a wrestler.

Download Film Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Sword of Destiny (2016) Bluray – After many years of solitude, renowned warrior Yu Shu Lien emerges from retirement and travels to Peking, where the legendary sword of Li Mu Bai, known as the Green Destiny, is located. In the forest, Shu Lien’s carriage is attacked by several warriors from the West Lotus clan. As she fights them, a masked horseman comes to her aid, and together they defeat the attackers, revealing one’s identity as a young man called Wei Fang.

At the tower of the West Lotus warlord Hades Dai, a young woman (Snow Vase) arrives asking to join his ranks. As Dai approaches, she draws a sword and attempts to kill him, although he easily fights her off, and she flees. As Wei Fang makes his way through the forest, he is approached by a blind enchantress, who orders him to take her to Dai. She tells Dai that his great sword is surpassed by the Green Destiny, and prophesizes that if he is to rule the Martial World, he must obtain the sword. Dai is reluctant to storm the home of the emperor’s brother, but the enchantress tells him to send Wei Fang, as the boy and the sword are bound by fate.

Te’s son greets her and reveals that the Green Destiny sword is kept on display at the house, also recalling the unmentioned love between Li Mu Bai and Shu Lien. That night as Wei Feng breaks into the house and attempts to steal the sword, Snow Vase appears and fights him. During the fight, Snow Vase sees a birthmark on Wei Fang’s chest, which distracts her and allows him to escape. She calls for help and Shu Lien arrives and captures the boy. Snow Vase approaches Shu Lien and asks her to train her in the Iron Way.

At a tave, Silent Wolf, the horseman who came to Shu Lien’s aid, posts a warrant for warriors to join him protecting the House of Te. One warrior offers his twenty swordsmen for a high price, and attacks when rebuffed. Four warriors join Silent Wolf in the fight, and he recruits them to his cause: Flying Blade of Shantung; Thunder Fist Chan, famed in Zhejiang; Silver Dart Shi, famed in Fuzhou; and Turtle Ma, famed in that tave.

Shu Lien begins Snow Vase’s training. That night, Silent Wolf and his warriors arrive at the Te compound. Shu Lien is shocked to see Silent Wolf, as he was thought to have been killed by Hades Dai many years before. He explains that he was in love with Shu Lien, but knew that Mu Bai was her true love, and faked his death to seek a life of solitude in the mountains.

Hades Dai rages that Wei Fang has failed in his raid, and sends his elite warrior, Mantis, to retrieve the sword. She arrives with her raiding party, and Silver Dart Shi and Turtle Ma are killed in the attack. Snow Vase attempts to free Wei Fang from his cage in the courtyard, but she is attacked by Mantis, and Wei Fang revealt the sword’s location. Mantis fights Shu Lien in the sword chamber, killing Sir Te’s son when Shu Lien refuses to relinquish the sword.

As the House of Te mous the losses, Snow Vase explains her connection to Wei Fang. His mother was the legendary swordswoman Han Mei, however as a baby, he was swapped for Snow Vase by her mother, a concubine. Han Mei raised Snow Vase as her own daughter, but never stopped looking for her son. Eventually finding him at West Lotus, she is mortally wounded by Hades Dai and as she dies, implores Snow Vase to find Wei Fang.

Knowing that Dai will send people to kill Wei Fang, Snow Vase frees him, and his horrified to later hear that he has stolen the sword. Silent Wolf tracks the boy down and they fight on a frozen lake. Wei Fang’s master arrives and wounds Silver Wolf, allowing Wei Fang to escape and reach West Lotus. Wei Fang offers the sword to Hades Dai, but then attempts to kill him with it to avenge his mother. Shu Lien and the others arrive and fight Dai’s army. Shu Lien fights the enchantress and kills her, using her skills to see through the witch’s illusions. Mantis kills Flying Blade and Thunder Fist, then fights Silver Vase, who defeats her but is badly wounded. Silent Wolf fights Hades Dai on the tower, eventually killing the warlord with his own sword as he reaches for the Green Destiny.

Snow Vase survives her injuries, and joins Shu Lien, Silent Wolf and Wei Fang as they take the Green Destiny to the Wudang Mountains where it will be kept safe.

Tommy Singh (Shahid Kapoor) is a Punjabi pop star and a drug addict. He has gained popularity among the youth, by creating songs about drugs and intoxication. His life takes a bad tu when addiction starts effecting his health and his career. During a rave party, he is been arrested by Punjab Police for possession of drugs. During his short trip to jail, Tommy meets two drug addict teenagers and realized that he has been unknowingly promoting drugs among the youth, through his music and behavior in public. On getting bail Tommy decides to quite addiction and pass on the same massage to his fans, during his next concert. To his disappointment the crowd starts hooting, which angers Tommy and he ends up pissing on the public, before running away.

Meanwhile, in other part of Punjab a Bihari migrant girl (Alia Bhatt) finds a pack of drugs while working in a farm as labor. While trying to sell it to some drug addict boys, she comes under the radar of a local drug mafia who were the real owners of the packet. Scared of getting caught she throws away the drug in water, not knowing how expensive it is. The gang abducts her, forces her to be a sex slave by intoxicating her. One fine day she manages to escape and reaches the site of Tommy Singh’s concert. She hides in a ruined house nearby only to meet Tommy also hiding from angry mob. She saves Tommy from group of guys thrashing him and they both shares their part of story. The mafia gang soon finds them and takes away the girl, leaving unconscious Tommy behind. On waking up in the moing, Tommy realized that police has issued an arrest warrant against his pissing act, but still decides to rescue the girl by tracing her from the farms were she told him she worked.
